Serve 6.8 - Big Thompson Canyon Flood Relief

The flood from September 2013 devastated thousands of properties from Estes Park to Loveland along with Estes Park to Longmont and on to Evans.  Serve 6.8, a non-profit organization, is working with other organizations to help victims of the flood. Serve 6.8 is focusing their efforts in the Big Thompson Canyon.  Many property owners have damaged onsite wastewater treatment systems or their wastewater facilities are gone all together. These organizations are trying to gather project information and costs associated with each property.  At this time assessing the properties is top priority, but they realize design will be quickly following. If you would be willing to donate time or provide discounted rates on onsite wastewater treatment system design or construction observation, please contact Lindsey Jones at or 970-449-2223.

Homes for our Troops

Homes for Our Troops, is a national non-profit, non-partisan 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2004. They are strongly committed to helping those who have selflessly given to our country and have returned home with serious disabilities and injuries since September 11, 2001. It is our duty and our honor to assist severely injured Servicemen and Servicewomen and their immediate families by raising donations of money, building materials and professional labor and to coordinate the process of building a home that provides maximum freedom of movement and the ability to live more independently. The homes provided by Homes for Our Troops are given at NO COST to the Veterans we serve.
