NAWT Inspector Course – April 2026 (Online & Arapahoe County)

April 30 @ 8:00 am - May 1 @ 5:00 pm

THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD BOTH IN-PERSON AND ONLINE THROUGH ZOOM.
*For those attending Online, a webcam is required for taking the Online Exam at the end of the 2-day course for Certification.*

The NAWT OWTS Inspection Standards class is a nationally recognized Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) class developed to provide training, education, testing and certification for individuals conducting OWTS inspections for property transfers, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements. The course covers the newly adopted NAWT OWTS Inspection Standards and helps guide the inspector through the inspection steps with the goal of arriving at a conclusion for each component and an overall conclusion for the system. The NAWT level of inspection is the Operations Level. All parts and components are assessed, and their condition and deficiencies are identified. This is the generally accepted course that state and county health departments use for their certification requirements for individuals operating as OWTS Inspectors.

*Starting in January 2026, all NAWT Inspector Certificate holders will be required to re-take the 2-day Course and Exam for Certification, to cover the new materials and standards. Individuals that received their initial Certification or renewed their existing Certificate in 2025 will have until January 2028 to complete the new course materials and re-take the exam for Certification*
