The NAWT Operations and Maintenance Training Courses were developed in coordination with Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT). Operations & Maintenance 1 concentrates on the business aspects of O&M and the maintenance requirements for conventional systems including trenches, beds, mounds and at-grade systems with some aerobic tank discussion. Operation & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite to Operation & Maintenance 2, which concentrates on aerobic tanks, drip irrigation, single pass and re-circulating media filters. Operation & Maintenance 1 is conducted over two days with an exam administered at the conclusion.

This course will be conducted in Larimer County and displayed via interactive video conference to the Montrose Fairgrounds. A class and test administrator will be present.
