SUMMARY:Clear Creek County Homeowner O&M Class
DESCRIPTION:For Clear Creek County Residents Only. This class is for homeowners who have received county permission to become self-certified to maintain their higher level treatment system. It is a one day course that will cover the basic skills to adequately inspect and service your system. A test will be given at the end of the class\, a minimum score of 80% is needed in order to pass. The cost of the class is $300. Please email cpow@nullcpow.net to register. DESCRIPTION:The NAWT Operations and Maintenance Training Courses were developed in coordination with Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT). Operations & Maintenance 1 concentrates on the business aspects of O&M and the maintenance requirements for conventional systems including trenches\, beds\, mounds and at-grade systems with some aerobic tank discussion. Operation & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite to Operation & Maintenance 2\, which concentrates on aerobic tanks\, drip irrigation\, single pass and re-circulating media filters. SUMMARY:NAWT Inspector Class\, Lakewood\, CO
DESCRIPTION:The Inspector class is a nationally recognized Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) class developed to provide training\, testing and certification for individuals conducting OWTS inspections for property transfers\, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements. Day one covers the basics of OWTS their purpose and functionality. Day two covers the NAWT protocol on how to complete an inspection for all systems from the basic gravity fed systems through systems with advanced treatment. The NAWT level of inspection is the Operations Level. Identifying all parts and components and assessing their condition and identify deficiencies. This is the generally accepted course that state and county health departments use for their certification requirements for individuals operating as OWTS Inspectors. \nThe Inspector Class is now FULL. We will be hosting another Inspector Class at this time next year. Please be on the lookout for information regarding that class after the first of the year.
