SUMMARY:NAWT ONLINE Installer 1 Course - January 2025
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE. \nThe Installer 1 session will cover the basics of what an installer would need to know about OWTS installation. The course covers an introduction of what an Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) is\, while helping the installer understand the importance of completing the installation correctly and in accordance with state and county regulations and the design.  Contractor safety will be discussed as it relates to installation practices.  The following topics will be emphasized during the presentations: Installation techniques and materials\, the steps involved in planning an OWTS installation project\, as well as a discussion of the different components that make up an OWTS. This course is designed to meet the needs of any individual interested in what goes into completing an OWTS installation whether they have been a contractor for many years or new to this type of work. \n  \nONLINE Course Cost: \n$195 for CPOW Members & $295 for Non-Members \n*Please note that each registration includes ONE (1) NAWT Certificate or Renewal\, and any additional requested renewals are $75/each. \nYou must have a 2025 CPOW membership to receive member pricing \n  \nOnline registration is now available for the course. If the second attempt does not result in a passing score\, or if the rescheduled exam date is missed with no notification\, the participant will need to re-take the full course again\, but at the Audit/Observe rate due to the certification being paid for with the first registration. The registration for the next class will provide for two additional attempts to take the exam to obtain a passing grade.\n\n
