DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD BOTH IN-PERSON AND ONLINE THROUGH ZOOM.\n*For those attending Online\, a webcam is required for taking the Online Exam at the end of the 2-day course for Certification.*\n \nThe NAWT OWTS Inspection Standards class is a nationally recognized Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) class developed to provide training\, education\, testing and certification for individuals conducting OWTS inspections for property transfers\, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements. The course covers the newly adopted NAWT OWTS Inspection Standards and helps guide the inspector through the inspection steps with the goal of arriving at a conclusion for each component and an overall conclusion for the system. DESCRIPTION:Colorado Soil and Site Evaluation Course \nThis course is designed to meet the requirements of the Section 43.5.I.2.b of Regulation #43 for a Competent Technician.  Passing the course examination will demonstrate competency in the visual and tactile evaluation of soil.  Certificates of Competency will be provided to participants that pass this exam. The CPOW Soils Course is a prerequisite for the CPOW OWTS Design Course. \nBelow is the description of the course as it has been presented in the past. DESCRIPTION:Colorado Soil and Site Evaluation Course \nThis course is designed to meet the requirements of the Section 43.5.I.2.b of Regulation #43 for a Competent Technician.  Passing the course examination will demonstrate competency in the visual and tactile evaluation of soil.  Certificates of Competency will be provided to participants that pass this exam. The CPOW Soils Course is a prerequisite for the CPOW OWTS Design Course. \nBelow is the description of the course as it has been presented in the past. DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD ONLINE THROUGH ZOOM.\n*A webcam is required for taking the Online Exam at the end of the 2-day course\, for those seeking Certification.* \nThe NAWT Operations and Maintenance Training Courses were developed in coordination with Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT). Operation & Maintenance 2 concentrates on aerobic tanks\, drip irrigation\, single pass and re-circulating media filters. Operation & Maintenance 2 is conducted over two days with an exam administered at the conclusion. Operation & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite to Operation & Maintenance 2.
