DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD ONLINE THROUGH ZOOM.\n*A webcam is required for taking the Online Exam at the end of the 2-day course\, for those seeking Certification.* \nThe NAWT Operations and Maintenance Training Courses were developed in coordination with Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT). Operations & Maintenance 1 concentrates on the business aspects of O&M and the maintenance requirements for conventional systems including trenches\, beds\, mounds and at-grade systems with some aerobic tank discussion. Operation & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite to Operation & Maintenance 2\, which concentrates on aerobic tanks\, drip irrigation\, single pass and re-circulating media filters. If the second attempt does not result in a passing score\, or if the rescheduled exam date is missed with no notification\, the participant will need to re-take the full course again\, but at a discounted rate due to the certification being paid for with the first registration. The registration for the next class will provide for two additional attempts to take the exam to obtain a passing grade. Exam retakes must be scheduled and taken within 90 days of the end of the course before the exam retake option is void.
