SUMMARY:NAWT ONLINE Operation & Maintenance 2 Course - December 2025
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING HELD ONLINE. \nThe NAWT Operations and Maintenance Training Courses were developed in coordination with Consortium of Institutes for Decentralized Wastewater Treatment (CIDWT). Operation & Maintenance 2  concentrates on aerobic tanks\, drip irrigation\, single pass and re-circulating media filters. Operation & Maintenance 2 is conducted over two days with an exam administered at the conclusion. Operation & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite to Operation & Maintenance 2. Operation & Maintenance 1 concentrates on the business aspects of O&M and the maintenance requirements for conventional systems including trenches\, beds\, mounds and at-grade systems with some aerobic tank discussion. \n*Certification in Operations & Maintenance 1 is a prerequisite for Operations & Maintenance 2 Certification\, and needs to be completed prior to taking this course for Certification*  \n  \nONLINE Course Cost: \n2-day Attendance (Full Certification): $295 for CPOW members and $395 for Non-Members. \n1-Day Attendance (Certificate Renewal): $195 for CPOW Members & $295 for Non-Members \n*Please note that each registration includes ONE (1) NAWT Certificate or Renewal\, and any additional requested renewals are $100/each. \nYou must have a 2025 CPOW membership to receive member pricing. \n  \nRegistration is now available for the course. Please click HERE to register. \nYou can also email Lisa Nicoll at cpow@nullcpow.net and include the registrant(s) Name\, any applicable Company Name\, Mailing Address\, and Phone Number \n*REGISTRATION FOR THE COURSE WILL CLOSE AT 5:00PM MST ON TUESDAY\, DECEMBER 2ND* \n  \nCPOW EXAM POLICY: \n\nIf the exam is not passed during the first attempt\, a second attempt will be allowed\, and will be scheduled after the first attempt. If the second attempt does not result in a passing score\, or if the rescheduled exam date is missed with no notification\, the participant will need to re-take the full course again\, but at the Audit/Observe rate ($210) due to the certification being paid for with the first registration. The registration for the next class will provide for two additional attempts to take the exam to obtain a passing grade.
