SUMMARY:NAWT ONLINE Inspector Course - February 2025
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS BEING OFFERED ONLINE.  \nThe Inspector class is a nationally recognized Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) class developed to provide training\, testing and certification for individuals conducting OWTS inspections for property transfers\, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements. Day one covers the basics of OWTS their purpose and functionality. Day two covers the NAWT protocol on how to complete an inspection for all systems from the basic gravity fed systems through systems with advanced treatment. The NAWT level of inspection is the Operations Level. Identifying all parts and components and assessing their condition and identify deficiencies. This is the generally accepted course that state and county health departments use for their certification requirements for individuals operating as OWTS Inspectors. \n  \nONLINE Course Cost: \n2-day Attendance (Full Certification): $295 for CPOW members and $395 for Non-Members. \n1-Day Attendance (Certificate Renewal): $195 for CPOW Members & $295 for Non-Members \n  \n*Please note that each registration includes ONE (1) NAWT Certificate or Renewal\, and any additional requested renewals are $75/each. \nYou must have a 2025 CPOW membership to receive member pricing. \n  \nRegistration is now available for the course: \nFor the ONLINE Course Registration\, please click HERE to register. \nYou can also email Lisa Nicoll at cpow@nullcpow.net and include the registrant(s) Name\, any applicable Company Name\, Mailing Address\, and Phone Number \n*REGISTRATION FOR THE CLASS WILL CLOSE AT 5:00PM MDT ON TUESDAY\, FEBRUARY 4TH* \n  \n*NAWT Certificates require 8 CEU hours every 2 years to remain current. NAWT CEU hours can be obtained by attending any NAWT-approved course or event.* \n  \nCPOW EXAM POLICY: \n\nIf the exam is not passed during the first attempt\, a second attempt will be allowed\, and will be scheduled after the first attempt. If the second attempt does not result in a passing score\, or if the rescheduled exam date is missed with no notification\, the participant will need to re-take the full course again\, but at the Audit/Observe rate ($210) due to the certification being paid for with the first registration. The registration for the next class will provide for two additional attempts to take the exam to obtain a passing grade.\n\n
