SUMMARY:NAWT Inspector Course - October 2023
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS NOW BEING HELD ONLINE.  \nThe Inspector class is a nationally recognized Onsite Wastewater Treatment System (OWTS) class developed to provide training\, testing and certification for individuals conducting OWTS inspections for property transfers\, system functionality and county or homeowner association requirements. Day one covers the basics of OWTS their purpose and functionality. Day two covers the NAWT protocol on how to complete an inspection for all systems from the basic gravity fed systems through systems with advanced treatment. The NAWT level of inspection is the Operations Level. Identifying all parts and components and assessing their condition and identify deficiencies. This is the generally accepted course that state and county health departments use for their certification requirements for individuals operating as OWTS Inspectors. \n  \nCost: \n2-day Attendance (Full Certification): $260 for CPOW members and $360 for Non-Members. \n1-Day Attendance (Certificate Renewal): $160 for CPOW Members & $260 for Non-Members. \n*Please note that each registration includes ONE (1) NAWT Certificate or Renewal\, and any additional requested renewals are $75/each. \n  \nREGISTRATION FOR THIS CLASS IS NOW CLOSED. You can check out the November Online Inspector Course\, or the 2024 Schedule for additional classes. \n*NAWT Certificates require 8 CEU hours every 2 years to remain current. NAWT CEU hours can be obtained by attending any NAWT-approved course or event.* \nYou must have a 2023 CPOW membership to receive member pricing.
