SUMMARY:NAWT Designer Course - February 2023
DESCRIPTION:THIS COURSE IS NOW BEING HELD ONLINE. \nThe NAWT OWTS Designer Training Course has been developed in response to requests for a design class from counties across the United States. This is a principles based design class\, not a regulations based class. The class presents sound\, science based principles of design\, which are applicable in health jurisdictions throughout the country. It is the responsibility of the designer to understand the local health jurisdiction regulations\, and properly apply the principles taught in the class. The class will cover the full range of tasks associated with the design of an OWTS\, including evaluation of existing documentation\, site evaluation\, subsurface investigation\, soils review segment\, creating sound design documents and the principles of design for gravity systems\, pumped systems\, mound systems and non-pressurized drip dispersal systems\, formerly called Colorado Low Pressure Drip. Attendees will learn about OWTS principles of operation\, tanks\, piping\, pumps and system access. \nExamples from the new Colorado Regulation 43 will be provided to illustrate how the local regulations have changed. \n  \nCost:  \n2-day Attendance (Full Certification): $260 for CPOW members and $360 for Non-Members. \n1-Day Attendance (Certificate Renewal): $160 for CPOW Members & $260 for Non-Members. \n*Please note that each registration includes ONE (1) NAWT Certificate or Renewal\, and any additional requested renewals are $75/each. \n  \nTHIS COURSE IS AT CAPACITY AND REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED.
