Beginning January 1, 2015, El Paso County will be joining other counties like

Jefferson, Boulder, Summit, Pitkin, Gilpin, Tri-County and Elbert in requiring that

All septic inspectors must be NAWT certified or equivalent

to complete Title Transfer Inspections.


El Paso County is hosting the National Association of

Wastewater Technicians Inspector Training and Certification Class.



Initial Certification CPOW Members = $300

Recertification CPOW Members = $200

Initial Certification NON CPOW Members = $400

Recertification NON CPOW members = $300

Time:          Thursday 8:00am – 5:00pm               

                    Friday 8:00 am - ????


  • Friday’s class usually ends about 3:00pm and the exam is started.
  • The exam has taken between 30-minutes and 2-hours to complete, depending on the person.
  • The room will be open until everyone completes the exam.

Class starts at 8:00am SHARP each day. We will not wait for late arrivals. Please be at the room, ready to begin by 7:45am.
