Big Thompson Canyon Flood Recovery

The flood from September 2013 devastated thousands of properties from Estes Park to Loveland along with Estes Park to Longmont and on to Evans.  Serve 6.8, a non-profit organization, is working with other organizations to help victims of the flood. Serve 6.8 is focusing their efforts in the Big Thompson Canyon.  Many property owners have damaged onsite wastewater treatment systems or their wastewater facilities are gone all together. These organizations are trying to gather project information and costs associated with each property.  At this time assessing the properties is top priority, but they realize design will be quickly following. If you would be willing to donate time or provide discounted rates on onsite wastewater treatment system design or construction observation, please contact Lindsey Jones at ljones@serve68.org or 970-449-2223.
